On October 27, with the completion of the general assembly of a 25 meter high offline drill pipe clip in the Chengdu base, the 5000 meter offline drilling rig, a new generation of intelligent drilling equipment independently developed by Sino Mannan Equipment, entered the final production and general assembly stage. Its successful development, production and general assembly indicate that Sino Mannan Equipment has taken a solid step on the road to product automation, intelligence and Digital transformation.
This 5000 meter offline intelligent drilling rig was developed and designed by the China Mann Equipment Research Institute, and manufactured in cooperation with two major bases in Shanghai and Chengdu. Currently, the production and manufacturing of various components have entered a critical stage, and it is expected to undergo overall debugging at the Shanghai base by the end of November.

Compared with traditional drilling rigs that operate in harsh environments, have high physical labor intensity, long waiting times, and are prone to personal injury during drilling, this offline drilling rig has undergone a disruptive design. When drilling in the field, it can achieve automatic column drilling, automatic column arrangement, automatic tripping, and automatic tripping, while in offline mode, it can achieve remote control and other functions. Due to the ability of this type of drilling rig to achieve parallel operations of drilling and offline root establishment through the SDOS intelligent drilling operation system, while significantly reducing construction personnel, it can effectively improve drilling efficiency and reduce waiting time.

In recent years, with the rapid development of the oil and gas extraction industry, the demand for intelligent drilling equipment from domestic and foreign users has been continuously increasing. In order to adapt to this market demand, China Man Equipment has actively explored and developed drilling rig intelligence, automation, and digitization based on the industry's own characteristics. Chen Keli, the executive vice president of the Equipment Group, said that moving from the traditional petroleum equipment industry to the high-end intelligent equipment industry is a major strategic decision and development opportunity for the company's transformation and upgrading, structural adjustment and future development, and will also open a broader development space for Sino Manman equipment.
